Brett Schroyer concentrates his practice on representing injured victims in their claims for workers compensation, personal injury and social security disability. Brett also has experience in the areas of premises liability, automobile diminished value and insurance bad faith litigation in both Federal and Georgia state courts.

Brett Schroyer received his law degree (Juris Doctor) from Georgia State College of Law in 2002. Brett attended the evening program and clerked for a divorce firm during the day for the four years he attended law school.

Brett Schroyer graduated from North Georgia College with a Bachelor of Arts in History in 1996. During college Brett Schroyer was a member Phi Alpha Theta, the National Honors History Fraternity, and represented the History Department in a debate on the influence of film upon twentieth century history for Honors Day in April, 1996.

Significant Cases
Brett Schroyer won an appeal (Ward v. McFall, 277 Ga. 649, 593 S.E.2d 340, (2004)) before the Georgia Supreme Court as the court upheld state child support guidelines and ruled in favor of a father with custody of his five-year-old son receiving support payments from his ex-wife.
Brett Schroyer won a reversal of a lower court's ruling (Bashir v. Rockdale County, 445 F.3d 1323 (11th Cir. 2006)) when the United States 11th Circuit Court of Appeals agreed that the Rockdale County Sheriff violated the client's Fourth Amendment rights for unlawful arrest. The court agreed that the Sheriff's Office was not entitled to qualified immunity and could be sued for damages for the use of force during the arrest.

Outside of work, Brett Schroyer enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter and their two spoiled Jack Russell terriers. Brett also enjoys scale aircraft modeling and classic films.
