HISTORY:
The Griffin Law Firm, P.C. was established in 1995. Over the years our firm has recovered millions of settlement dollars for our clients. The value of every case is different, but our focus and dedication to make sure our clients are fully compensated for their losses remains a constant. FIRM ATTORNEYS:
Richard S. Griffin founded The Griffin Law Firm, P.C. in 1995 after obtaining valuable experience working for many other law firms who specialize is helping injured victims. He received his B.A. from Emory University in Political Science in 1991. He then earned his Juris Doctor Degree from Georgia State College Of Law in 1994. He was the president of the Student Trial Lawyers Association (S.T.L.A.) while in law school and now is a Champion Member of the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association (G.T.L.A.), as well as a prominent member of the American Trial Lawyers Association (A.T.L.A.). He has also obtained multiple million dollar verdicts from personal injury jury trials in Georgia, as well as, numberous worker's compensation settlements of $100,000.00 or more. One such worker's compensation settlement was for $425,000.00 in 2005. In 2005 other Georgia attorneys voted for Mr. Griffin to be named a "Georgia Rising Star Super Lawyer".
D. Jeffrey Beaird, heads the litigation department of The Griffin Law Firm, P.C. He received his B.A. in Political Science from David Lipscomb University and his Juris Doctor Degree from the Cumberland School of Law. His is an active member of the American Bar Association and the Association Of Trial Lawyers Of America. He is admitted to the Georgia, Alabama, and Tennessee Bar associations. His area of legal expertise is personal injury, worker's compensation, wrongful death, medical malpractice, and social security disability. Mr. Beaird has obtained many large jury verdicts and settlements. In 2005 Mr. Beaird settled a worker's compensation claim for $575,000.00.
Stefan Turkheimer graduated cum laude from the University of Georgia School of Law in 2004 where he was on the editorial board of the Journal of Intellectual Property, was a finalist in the 1st year Moot Court competition and a semifinalist in the 2nd year Mock Trial competition. He attended Wake Forest University and Georgia State University for his undergraduate education.
Prior to Joining the Griffin Law Firm, Mr. Turkheimer worked as a prosecutor in the Western Judicial Circuit and was the Finance Director for Mark Taylor's Gubernatorial Campaign.
Mr. Turkheimer is handling worker's compensation and personal injury claims for our firm. His strong work ethic and his attention to detail has made him an excellent addition to our firm. |
